ADHISAYA PIRAVI - POLITICAL DIGS

Adhisaya piravi was made at a time, when most of Rajini's movies were almost indirectly hinting at politics, taking a dig at political events around the state. Most of the scenes involving Cho were sarcastically targeted at tamil nadu politics at that time( like in most other movies as well). In this scene, Cho and Rajinikanth indirectly try to make a null reference (as it has no value with regard to the scene) , just as Cho does it in the Guru Sishyan scene. Incidentally, GuruSishyan starred both Rajini and Cho and was also directed by S.P.Muthuraman.

ADHISAYA PIRAVI - THE PHOENIX

Kaalai has risen from the dead to help/save his people. This tune was probably made, more with an intent of showing off Rajini's style mannerisms, rather than gelling with the screenplay. Never the less, Raja has also given a very stylish score to underline the base motive of the scene.

The singari-pyaari song's instrumental has been used through out the movie as the main theme BGM for Kaalai rajinikanth. Here, he has come back alive, and on hearing the news, his lover rushes to meet him.

UDHIRI POOKAL - THE SADDIST FAILS

There are umpteen number of scenes in this movie that show how sadistic the protagonist(Vijayan) is. This is just one of them. There is this "zinging" kind of BGM that Raja has scored for Vijayan in this movie, a kind of sound that tells us - "this is all evil".

A really good - must watch film.

DHAVANI KANAVUGAL - AT THE THEATRE

Raja's music is just apt to represent the humour present in this scene. Bhagyaraj's expressions are out of this world, and towards the end of the scene, when he is a trance, the little girl reminding her brother, is just rib-tickling stuff( especially for first timers). The little girl is none other than Priyadarshini - of Manada Mayilada fame.

The music is more dominant at specific instants like, when he tries to throw the coin each time on the floor.

ARUVADAI NAAL - BGM THEME (ROMANCE)

Prabhu has been constantly flirting with the doctor. He eventually manages to win her heart. The scene starts with Prabhu coming to her clinic ( a village health centre) , some non sense talk, before he eventually gets the words out of her own mouth.

The BGM theme follows and after a while , we see the "Premam.." short tune here. This "Premam..Premam" tune is also used at the starting of the movie, before the Title track song.

ARUVADAI NAAL - BGM THEME ( PATHOS )

While pallavi has gone home happily to tell the nuns the good news that prabhu's father has agreed to their wedding, her father in law has slyly tricked his son into marrying a small girl.

Pallavi is in shock , when she hears the news of her lover's marriage. The same tune in a different situation - soothing to the ears.
